Remember, only ever send emails to people who have given you their permission to email them. Anything else can be and likely will be considered SPAM. As Corey Rudl has recently said "Sending spam is a really, really, REALLY bad idea!"
If you want to email them on a continual or regular basis, this can really only be achieved through using an Opt-in list.
Services for Building, Maintaining and Mailing Your List
There are a variety of ways to start building your own list, not all of them are really ideal, especially if you are on a limited budget to start with.
There are a few services that have surfaced fairly recently that I think are well worth considering. That is because they: * are FREE to join, and * limit the amount of return mail you'll receive (6 to 14 p/wk).
Opportunity.com A little different from the others in this list in that you don't email your actual downline, but a random list of members the same size as your downline. This exposes you & your offer to a new group of members each time you mail.
With the following List Builders, you can email all members in your downline, but will only receive email from those directly upline from you
The Opt-In List New. Uses a 6x6 Matrix.
ListFire New. Uses a matrix to 15 levels, you receive max of 14 emails per week.
FREEnetleads 6 level Matrix, max of 6 emails.
ResultsTracker 4x8 Matrix
Free Mailer 2000 Matrix of 15 levels, you receive max 14 emails p/w.
Another alternative:
ezineking eZine Marketing made easy; for advertisers and publishers.
FFA Pages: Yet another alternative is having an FFA page (a web page allowing advertising "Free For All", hence "FFA"). There are a number of services on the web that allow you to set up an FFA page, most at a cost, some free.
Whilst posting ads to or listing your site on FFA
pages has definitely become a waste of time, there will always be plenty of people who do. And when they do, they agree to receive at least one confirmation email from you, AND I recommend that you limit it to ONE.
This gives you an opportunity to introduce yourself, your web site and/or your
program or products. You can invite them to check your sales page or recruiting page or to join your proper opt-in mailing or membership list, which opens the door to build a relationship through further responsible mailings.
However,
because a lot of people now use automated submission services along with a
throwaway email address for the confirmation emails, I think this tactic has
lost a lot of it's effectiveness.
But, if you want to give it a
try, check these services out:
AutoFFA
SuperFFA
FreeFFAs
FFACash
1stChoiceFFA
They all have free memberships available.
